Traditional or Seamless Design - Which is Better?
There are two main differences between the traditional and seamless designs. The first involves functionality. The seamless design features heat sealed waterproof edges that prevent moisture or fluids from seeping into the mattress along the edge. While it is rare for an accident to occur along the edge of the mattress, it is a possibility. The waterproof edges also provide a more allergenically sealed construction. The second difference involves aesthetics. Some people prefer the traditional look of a binding or trim while others prefer the sleek modern look of the seamless design.

Single Firmness or Dual Firmness?
A single firmness crib mattress will have the same firmness on both sides. This firmness level will work for both infants and toddlers. With a dual firmness model, the two sides have been tailored specifically for the stage of the child. This specialization results in a slightly firmer infant side and a slightly softer toddler side.

Worth the investment

When I pulled out my 7 year old crib mattress used by my two older children as a toddler trampoline, I recognized it was time to replace it as it was sagging and no longer fit tightly in the crib. After finding nothing locally that was even firm, I started my research. I liked the idea of my baby not breathing in potentially toxic fumes, but didnt know if the 150 coil mattress would be firm enough. Im happy to say not only was it an excellent firmness, but it fit the crib tightly. (Sorelle Sophia). I purchased an organic waterproof mattress pad which was very soft. The seamless design is very nice, occasional accidents which have gotten into seams on my previous mattress proved impossible to get out completely. (They soak into the stitching). Overall, great mattress, great product, arrived on time, and Im very happy to be giving my business to a company that is based in the USA.
